Governor DeWine announced today that Bucyrus and Galion were awarded a combined $1.9 million for water and sewer projects through the Ohio BUILDS program. Bucyrus won $1.3 million for a waterline project that extends water to Sulphur Springs and SR 602 in rural Crawford County, and Galion won $600,000 for a lift station and backup generator wastewater treatment project that will benefit the entire city of Galion. Ohio BUILDS Water Infrastructure Grant Projects – Round 5
On July 21, 2023, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine announced the fifth round of water infrastructure grant funding awarded through Ohio BUILDS. Short summaries of each grant can be found below.
