Each year the Partnership presents awards to individuals, groups, projects, initiatives, or companies to celebrate those who have taken concrete action to create a brighter future for our county!
Last week we recognized Community Opportunity and the collaboration between counties, schools, and partners. 2023’s winner of the Partnership Award is the Community Opportunity program, a remarkable partnership between all six county school districts, the career and technical school, and local employers. Community Opportunity is a workforce development program that connects companies in Crawford, Richland, and Wyandot Counties with students seeking employment opportunities in the region. Since its creation, almost 500 businesses and 3,000 students have registered on the program’s website, with more than 1,700 jobs posted.
